Skin retraction after VASER liposuction continues up to 6 months, and even after one year.  Regarding skin retraction, the VASER-assisted lipoplasty-treated side resulted in a statistically significant improvement in skin retraction of 53 percent relative to suction-assisted lipoplasty based on a randomized-clinical study.
